Bard Chorus Materials
Here are the rehearsal recordings of the Duruflé Requiem for the Fall 2010 concert, in MP3 format. You should be able to save each file to your computer by right clicking (on Mac, control-click if you don't have two-button mouse) the link for each filename, and choosing "Save As..." or "Download Linked File As..." from the pop-up menu. Once you have them saved on your computer hard disk, you can open them with iTunes or Winamp or your favorite music player program. (You should also be able to play the files directly in your web browser, of course.) In case of problems or questions please email james AT fourpawsmusic.com.

Rehearsal Tracks
Notes
- Alto, tenor and bass are played and sung at actual pitch. Soprano is played on piano at actual pitch but sung down the octave.
- Each individual voice part (i.e. your part) is panned towards the left speaker to make it easier to distinguish.
- Part divisions are according to the score. So if a passage is marked to be sung by first altos in the score, it will appear in the alto part, even if the second sopranos have been asked to sing that particular passage in our chorus.
- The voice for these rehearsal tracks is recorded sitting at the piano and is performed by a single person. Just because I occasionally breathe in a bad place (middle of a word) doesn't mean you have to! Try to breathe as indicated in rehearsal.
Advanced
If you know how to work with Zip files, under each part there is a Zip file which when expanded will give a folder with the entire set of tracks for that part, so you don't have to save them all one by one. (If you don't know what to do with a Zip file, no worries, you can also download the tracks individually.)
